Burdett Hulbert

Burdett Hulbert, Jr, 77, of Findlay passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Findlay on November 6, 1942 to the late Ernest Burdett and Rema (Corbin) Hulbert. On October 20, 1979 he married Norma Conrad and she preceded him in death on November 10, 2013. Burdett is survived by his son, Steven (Claudia) Hulbert of Abingdon, VA; daughter, Kristina (Ed-deceased) Tipton of Cambridge, OH; stepson, Roger (Susan) King of McComb; and stepdaughter, Kathy King of Pottstown, PA. He is also survived by his brother, James (Cathie) Hulbert of rural Findlay; sister, Cheryl (Tom) Pitney of Findlay; 9 grandchildren: Alex, Ben, Bradley, Eric, Cody, Roger Jr, Stoney, Michael, and April; 10 great-grandchildren; and special friends: Ruthie Frost and Norm Nobblit. Burdett attended Andrew Barber College and was a Barber for several years, before working for and retiring from Ball Metal Corporation. Burdett was a 1960 graduate of Van Buren High School and a charter member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He loved fishing and coon hunting, and was an avid football and Ohio State Buckeye fan. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME and burial will follow in McComb Union Cemetery.
