Aldine I Weber

1922 - 2020

Aldine I. Weber of Findlay, OH, passed away June 21, 2020. Aldine was born in Millington, MI on June 12, 1922 to the late Alfred Emery and Inda Mae (Hall) Riness. Aldines 3 brothers and 2 sisters all preceeded her in death. She just celebrated her 98th birthday at Birchaven Village, where she resided for the last five years. Aldine married George E. Weber in Michigan in October 1957, and they relocated to Findlay, OH soon after. George preceded her in death on December 8, 1976. Aldine is survived by her children; Darwin D. Cataline, Curtis L. Cataline (Kate), JD Cataline (Sue) and Bren Freeman (Jim). Her beloved son, Ronald E. Cataline passed in 2001, as did his grandson and Aldine’s great-grandson Shane Cataline in 2014. Aldine was cherished by her 13 grandchildren; Greg Cataline, Jacqueline Salisbury (Fred), Chad Cataline (Denise), Scott Cataline (Rhonda), Matthew Cataline (Misty), Andrew Cataline (Denise) Gabriel Cataline, Isabella Cataline, Jennifer Cataline (Jim Elsea), Jodi Cataline-Kraus (Tim Hilliard), Tasha Addy (Jay), Ryan Freeman (Jessica) and Jenna Freeman (Matthew Hagan). Aldine has 16 great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Aldine was a member of Stonebridge Church (formerly East Foulke Avenue Church of God) for over 50 years. She was actively involved in many church activities including the Women’s Missionary Ladies group. Aldine never knew a stranger, and touched many lives over the years through her gift of hospitality and great cooking. The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Birchaven Village, and also recognize the many friends and family members who spent time visiting her there. A private celebration of life and graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Friday, June 25th. Those who wish to contribute are encouraged to donate to a charity of their choice.
