Betty L. Folk

1928 - 2020

Betty L. Folk, 92 of Findlay passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Birchaven Village. She was born on April 24, 1928 to the late Lawrence L. and Mildred G. (Davis) Robinson. She married Ralph F. Folk on May 29, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Aug. 30, 2003. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Lloyd) Carruthers of Pataskala, OH and Nancy (George) Alexander of rural Forest; two grandchildren James of AZ and Tiffany of Carey, OH and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gregory; grandson, Jason and a brother, Richard. Betty worked for Ohio Bell, RCA, Bob Jones Insurance and retired from Marathon Oil as a telephone operator. She was a volunteer for Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary for 30+ years and attended St. Mark's Untied Methodist Church. Betty had many poodle puppies over the years, her dog "Pumpkin" (pictured with her) accompanied Betty many places. The family would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the staff of Birchaven's Aspen Hall. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, November 23, 2020 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating, the family asks that all in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30am-1:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials can be directed to the Hancock Co.
