David Paul Harmon, 74, of North Baltimore passed away on January 1, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born on March 5, 1944 to the late Virgil and Mary (Krouse) Harmon. On February 24, 1968, he married Sharon Lee Bauman and she survives. Also surviving is a son, Faron Thomas Harmon. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Harold Harmon; and two sisters: Mary Ellen Harwell and Helen Harmon. He served his country from 1965-1967 in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Atlas Crankshaft and the IGA. David was a member of the American Legion Post #539, Portage Holiness Camp, and Praise Chapel Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery where the American Legion Post #539 will present full military rites. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday and for one hour prior to the service (10-11:00 a.m.) Monday at the funeral home.
