Esther M. Henry, 89, of Bowling Green passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2019 at Bowling Green Manor. She was born in Toledo on March 30, 1930 to the late Carl and Marie (Chaney) Patton. She married James Henry, Sr. on May 18, 1950 and he preceded her in death on May 3, 1994. She is survived by three children: Michael Henry of Bowling Green, Patty Ann Gauthier of Michigan, and Sarah Henry of Bowling Green; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Robert Patton of Nebraska, and Willard Patton of Cygnet. She was also preceded in death by a son, James Henry, Jr.; two daughters, Martha Ann Reed, and Jennifer Franz; a grandchild; three brothers: William, Manford, and Sanford Patton; and two sisters: Viola Clark and Bernice Healy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Weaver Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the funeral home and online condolences can be sent by visiting
