Charles "Max" Schroeder, 70, of North Baltimore, passed away at 3:09pm on Monday, August 5, 2019, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. He was born on March 31, 1949, in Lima to the late James A. and Betty Jane (Killen) Schroeder. Max is survived by his sons: Chad (Denise) Cataline of Helena, OH, and Scott (Rhonda) Cataline of Branson, MO; his brothers: Glen (Patricia) Schroeder of Dayton, Kim (Jan) Schroeder of Irons, MI, and Jeff Schroeder of Madison, GA; and his grandchildren: Micha, Matt, Marcus, Kayla Cataline, Michael, Jerred, and Catrina Keller; his nieces: Tonya Markus, Nichole Kuntz and Jennifer Schroeder. Max retired from Nissin Brake in Findlay, and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Ada. He also gradated from Pensacola Bible Institute as an ordained minister. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 10, 2019, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, where visitation will be held for 2 hours (12:00-2:00pm) prior to the service. Pastor Don Ayer will officiate. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
