Philip E. Anthony, age 69, of Mt. Blanchard, died at 9:36pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay. He was born on July 13, 1950 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Robert and Barbara (Ingram) Anthony. He was married to Judy Krout and they divorced. He married Debra A. Norris on July 18, 2019 and she survives. Other survivors include a son, Travis (Valerie) Anthony of Powell, Ohio; stepson, Travis (Bridgett Bushong) Norris of Mt. Blanchard; sisters: Debbie (Greg) Beckwith of South Carolina, and Jan (Rick) Rodabaugh of Mt. Blanchard; and grandchildren: Alex, Amber, and Holly Anthony, and Trenton, Melissa, Sophia, and Tallon Norris. Philip retired as a quality analyst from Whirlpool in 2007. He had attended both the Mt. Blanchard United Methodist Church and the First Baptist Church in Forest. Philip enjoyed NASCAR, golf, watching The Young and The Restless, and going to Las Vegas. He was a skilled woodworker and had a Special Dog, Myla. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, from 1:00-3:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm at CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Pastor James Robinette will officiate and interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bridge Hospice and online condolences are welcomed at www.coldrencrates.com.
