On behalf of the Ebert family, I want to express my deepest sympathies to each of you. Mary and Jim both shared such fond memories and stories of Mary Lou, her friendship with Mary, and those card games. She was so welcoming and kind to me when I joined the Ebert family. May you feel peace and comfort from knowing that so many loved her and her legacy will continue on. Keeping you all close in my thoughts during these days of grief.

I will always remember the entire Steinman family and what fun we had growing up next door to each other. Between the Steinmans, the Bishops, and the Walters families, we had our own play group. Mary Lou was always remarkable on how she handled raising five children on her own. She would open up the back door and call for them, and they would come running. Had talked with her while she was sitting on her front porch reading over the years. She was always upbeat and nice to visit with. My sincere condolendces, from the Bishop four, on your loss. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all her were lucky enough to know her.
