Marilyn J. Hindall, 95, of Arlington passed away on Monday, August 31,2020 at Good Samaritan Society of Arlington. Marilyn was born on July 9, 1925 to the late Julius and Estella (Baker) Rice. A 1943 graduate of Findlay High School, Marilyn later that summer, on June 19, married L. DeWayne Hindall, and he preceded her in death. Surviving Marilyn are her children, Gary (Pamela) Hindall of Brandon, MS, James (Cynthia) Hindall, David Hindall, and Lisa (Thomas) Yates, all of Arlington; and her 12 grandchildren, Brad (Rene`) Hindall, Scott (Julie) Hindall, Jason (Kate) Hindall, Jessica (Jason) Brock, Christina (Justin) Brock, Angela (Andrew) Ewing, Philip (Edly) Hindall, Michael Hindall, Alicia (Brad) Stahl, Emily (Denver) Weihrauch, Andrew (Whitney) Yates, and Claire Lafkas. She was also blessed with 30 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Marilyn loved her family deeply. She was an integral part of the family insurance business with Nationwide Insurance. Marilyn retired from Brinkman's Turkey Farm at the age of 62, where one of her shining moments and fondest memories was waiting on Paul Newman. Marilyn was a very active member of Arlington United Methodist Church, serving funeral luncheons and helping at many other church activities. She truly enjoyed cooking and baking. Marilyn was active in her community as well, by being involved with Arlington Homecoming, and the building of Good Samaritan Home. She enjoyed following politics, reading and watching baseball, especially Cleveland Indians. The family would like to thank the many friends, staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home and Bridge Hospice, who have been in this season of life with their mother, and a very special appreciation for the love, care and kindness of Teresa.
