Joe Ray Brinkman, age 77, of rural Arlington, Ohio passed away at Good Samaritan Nursing Home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 4:25pm. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on December 29, 1942, to the late Rex E. and Nancy E. (Rinehart) Brinkman. On June 16, 1962, he married Kathleen E. Dillon in Findlay, Ohio and she preceded him in death on June 10, 2016. Surviving are a daughter, Kelly (Mark) Sullivan of Show Low, AZ; son, Dustin (Margaret) Brinkman of rural Arlington; grandchildren: Jessica Stahl of rural Arcadia, Zachary Stahl of Findlay, and Elizabeth Brinkman of rural Arlington; sisters: Brenda (Herb) Seelbach of Findlay and Linda (Robert, deceased) Elsea of Arlington; along with several nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his brother: Larry Brinkman (wife, Shirley survives) and niece Amanda Dillon Friar. Joe was a 1960 graduate of Arlington High School and a member of First Christian Church in Findlay. He was a lifelong farmer and co-owner of Brinkman's Turkey Farm, Inc. He loved hunting, fishing, and trapping, along with planting flowers at his home, painting and portraying of a mountain man. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at the CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the funeral home. Pastor Chris Schilling will officiate. Interment will be private.
