Also surviving are a sister, Dorothy (Don) Carter; and a brother, Ron Hunter, both of Carey, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Preceding him in death, besides his parents, were three half-brothers and two half-sisters: Adora Jane (Ken) Dible, Blaine (Eleanor), Virgil (Fentriss), William “Junior” (Dorothy), and Donna Jean (John) Christoff; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Norma (Bockey) Arnold; brother-in-law, Dean Arnold; and sister-in-law, Sharon Buess. Following high school, Paul worked at Swan Rubber Company in Carey, OH; Dow Chemical in Findlay, OH, and then retired from Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay, OH. Among his many interests were attending all the sporting events, musicals, and concerts which his grandchildren were involved in during their school years and some of their college years as well. He also enjoyed gardening, farming, baking, cooking, and working crosswords and cryptoquotes. Paul loved playing games and doing picture puzzles with his family. In his earlier years, he played on the Mt. Blanchard baseball team, winter basketball with the “town guys” and church league basketball. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Arlington, OH. Mr. Hunter had a strong belief in his Lord Jesus Christ and attended Community Bible Church, where a “Going Home” celebration will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Arlington, OH, with Pastor Brad Adams officiating. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service.
