Marilyn Pauline Hartman, 87, formerly of Arlington, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Bluffton Mennonite Memorial Home. She was born on March 1, 1925 to the late Ira E. and Anna L. (Wilch) Businger in Orange Township. On August 10, 1943, Marilyn married Donavan L. Hartman in Alliance, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on September 11, 1984. She is survived by one son, Rocky L. (Diane) Hartman, Jenera; four daughters: Jeri Jean (Darrell) Withrow, Van Buren, Alberta A. Hardin (Greg Sunderhaus), Jenera, Ramona C. Martin (Tom Merrill), Arlington, Lori L. (John) Hunt, Alger; one brother, Eldon (Kathryn) Businger, Jenera; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Luther Businger and one sister, Ruth Gossman. Marilyn worked for Superior Trim, Bluffton Glove Factory and Theatrical Accessories. Marilyn was a member of the Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church for many years. Marilyn would sometimes join with her other family members in the group "Hicks from the Sticks". She enjoyed fishing, cooking and camping. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 with funeral services at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington. Pastor Steven Ramsey will officiate and burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens Cemetery, east of Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, Appleseed EMS or Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Ohio. Online condolences may be made via
