Glenn D. Boyd, 79 of Jenera passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021. Glenn was born to Glenn A. and Elsie (Johnson) Boyd on April 13, 1941 in Mainville, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Boyd, four daughters; Shonna (Randy) Callahan of Lebanon, Ohio, Marcella Churchill of Madison, Ohio, Glenna Procter of Osgood, Indiana, Glenda (Troy) Totten of Fairfield Township, Ohio, son, Chris (Laurie) Boyd of Hamilton, Ohio, two step-daughters; Emily (Eric) Shank of Orrville, Ohio, Holly (Jordan) Castle of Ada, Ohio and step-son, Allen (Vanessa) Beidelschies of Jenera. Glenn is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sisters; Carolyn (George) Wolbers of Loveland, Ohio, Janet Howard of Milford, Ohio, Betty (Gerald) Buerkle, Ohio and Charlene (Leroy) Doctor of Blanchester, Ohio. Glenn loved to tinker around in his barn. He always found a way to make something work. He was the hardest working man in the room. Glenn was deeply rooted in his faith. He loved being outdoors and had a very witty mischievous, ornery spirit. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A funeral service for Glenn will begin at 1:00pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at the Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Friday until the time of service. Pastor Dave Lanquist will officiate and burial will follow in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Jenera. Those attending the service are asked to wear a mask and social distance.
