Johnny R. Henthorne, 64, of North Baltimore, passed away on Friday, February 5 at 2:20 pm at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1956, in Findlay to the late John E. and Mary (Hartley) Henthorne. John is survived by his girlfriend of 19 years, Lynne Kidd; son, Aaron Henthorne; daughters: Alice (Adam) Walsh of Findlay and Ammie Rickard of Findlay; brother, Bill Henthorne of Toledo; sister, Mary (Steve) Kellison of Findlay; grandchildren: Kayden Henthorne, Kayleigh Henthorne, Gracie Rickard, Connor Thomas and Eloise Thomas; and his sidekick, Ellie Stevens. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, James Junior Poe; and a grandchild, Kyler Henthorne. John was a graduate of Findlay High School, where he played football. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gambling, the casino, playing bingo and reading the newspaper. He and Lynne enjoyed drives to Amish country, Killdeer Plains and attending tractor pulls. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2021, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be held 2 hours (1:00-3:00 p.m.) prior to the service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Coldren-Crates Funeral Home.
