Pastor Michael Keith Collingwood, 72, of Boyertown, PA, went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2021, at Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health. He was the husband of Kathy Ann (King) Collingwood, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in McComb, OH, on June 17, 1948, Michael was the son of the late Keith and Goldie (Hahn) Collingwood. Michael served in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in 1970 after a tour in Vietnam. He later went on to Bible college and started a church with his wife in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. After many years as a Pastor he also obtained his Doctorate in Theology. When he passed, Michael was currently pastoring Bible Believers Baptist Church in Stowe, PA and on the board of directors for Word for the World Baptist Ministries in Rossville, GA. He had many other hobbies and accomplishments such as; private pilot, NRA firearms instructor, Sr. Service Engineer for medical imaging, Certified welder, grill master of his Big Green Egg, bee keeper, and so many more… His friends, family, and congregation will greatly miss him. In addition to his wife, Mr. Collingwood is lovingly remembered by his son, Michael Brett Collingwood, Sevierville, TN; his daughter, April Renee Ritter, wife of Travis, Alvada, OH; his grandchildren, Brooke Collingwood, Elisabeth Czarnecki, Lydia Czarnecki, Luke Czarnecki, Joshua Czarnecki, Alexandria King, and Jocelynn Iannelli; and his siblings, Virginia, Craig, Patricia, Brenda, Susan, Cheryl, and Jeff. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Dan and Steven. A viewing will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 W. Sandusky St., Findlay, OH 45840. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will take place after the service at Knollcrest Cemetery, 18085, OH-12, Arcadia, OH 44804.
