Samuel A. Preteroti, age 80, of Findlay, died at 9:14am on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Fostoria. He was born on June 20, 1940, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania to the late Pete and Constance (Damore) Preteroti. He married Brenda Sue Bates on May 14, 1975 and she preceded him in death on May 11, 2018. He is survived by his children: Timothy Preteroti of Findlay, Brenda Preteroti of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Elisa P. Preteroti of Findlay, Tina Suydam of Findlay, Rose Preteroti of Findlay, Christina (Jesse) Payton of Findlay and Ashley Preteroti of Findlay; sisters: Rose May of Findlay and Josephine (Oliver) Schaub of Butler, Pa.; 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete and Richard Preteroti. He retired after 40 years of service at Hancor in Findlay. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from noon until 2:00pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Graveside services will be held at 2:30pm on Tuesday at Arlington Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences are welcomed at www.coldrencrates.com.

So sorry for your loss I called him Sammy was a good guy I worked at Hancor with him for 30 years he always had a funny story to tell we had a lot of laughs sense I retired only saw him at Walmart and we would have a story Time.Sure will miss him.
