Owen Hammond, age 22, of Findlay passed away at Blanchard Valley Hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020. He was born on April 8, 1998 in Findlay, Ohio. His mother is Amy (Mathews) Hammond of Findlay and he was raised by Ryan Reese also of Findlay. His father is David Hammond of Rawson. Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Sandra Mathews of Findlay; paternal grandparents: Beverly Hammond of Findlay and Larry and Paula Hammond of Rawson; daughter, Adelina Santos and son, Silas Hammond both of Findlay; brothers: Sawyer and Forrest Hammond both of Findlay; sister, Sandra Hammond of Findlay. He was preceded in death in March 2020, by his loving girlfriend, Courtney Santos. Owen enjoyed riding dirt bikes and was a member of the A.M.A. He attended Van Buren High School and enjoyed being outside where he road his BMX and skateboarded. However what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his children and family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 1-4pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Funeral services will will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 4:00pm on Thursday. Interment will be private. The family would appreciate that memorials be given to the funeral home to help with expenses. Online condolences are welcomed at www.coldrencrates.com.
