Patricia Anne Herrit

1930 - 2020

Patricia Anne (Glann) Herrit, 90 of Findlay passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born in Maumee, Ohio on January 15, 1930 to the late Clarence C. and Arline E. (Frankforther) Glann. Patricia married Donald E. Herrit on March 3, 1951 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1982. Surviving are three daughters; Judy (Dave) Burgee of Hillsdale, MI, Jan (Larry) Levenhagen of Fostoria, Jill (Dennis) Smith of McComb, seven grandchildren; Emily (C.W.) Amburgey, Anne (Mike) Monnich, Bob (Tiffany) Burgee, Ben (Bethany) Levenhagen, Brent (Tiffany) Levenhagen, Eric (Hanna) Ziessler, Sean (Courtney) Ziessler, 20 great grandchildren; Ethan, Ava, Kaylee, Aidyn, Abby, Max, Jordan, Cohen, Olive, Alice, Paige, Brianna, Robert, Clara, Easton, Brennen, Evie, Levi, Lauren, Amelia, numerous nieces, nephews, a sister-in-law, Jann Graham Glann and special friend, Connie (Brad) Johnson of Findlay. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Frank Glann and sister, Enid (Ted) Thompson. Patricia was a 1947 graduate of Maumee High School. She then graduated from Bowling Green State University with her degree in Education where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omego Sorority. She briefly taught elementary school before devoting her life to her children and family. Patricia was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church where she was involved in the Wesley Sunday School Class and a member of Sarah Circle. She was also a member of Town & Campus at the University of Findlay, the Blanchard Valley Hospital Auxiliary, a Legacy member of the Findlay Country Club, numerous Garden and Bridge Clubs, the Women's Club of Clyde and the AAUW. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay. Those attending the services are asked to follow current social distancing and mask guidelines. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Patricia to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
