Barbara Ann (Lane) Ricksecker went to be with her Lord, December 25, 2020 at The Heritage in Findlay, OH. Barb is survived by sons Jeffrey (Ellen) Melick of Hudsonville MI, Stephen Melick of Van Buren, OH, and stepdaughter Debra Neville of Findlay, OH. Also surviving are grandchildren Justin, Paige and Lei Melick, seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Charles Lane. Barb was born in Findlay, OH on April 1, 1939 to Daniel and Bernice (Peterman) Lane, who both proceeded her in death. She was also proceeded in death by her brothers Richard, John and Troy Lane. Barb married James Melick in 1961. She later married Paul Ricksecker, to whom she was married 43 years before his passing in 2018. Barb worked for the United Brethren Church for serval years. The largest part of her career was working for Grange Mutual Insurance Co., which she retired from in 1998. Barb’s strong Christian faith kept her active in the church as a Sunday school teacher, church secretary, and working the Twice Blessed sales at the Findlay First Nazarene Church. She had been a member of St. Marks United Methodist church in her early years, most recently a member of Findlay First Nazarene Church. Barb was always busy, whether it was working in the yard, making crafts or spending time with her family, but her biggest joy was always helping others. Due to current Covid restrictions, the family will have a celebration of life sometime in 2021, when it’s safe to gather. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Mission Possible of Findlay OH, or to Findlay First Nazarene Church, Findlay, OH. We are soo sorry to hear about Barb. My parents, Bob & Shirley Black, introduced us to Paul & Barb at the Heritage Sunday lunches. What a wonderful couple. It was a pleasure getting to know them. Paul & Barb were dining partners of my parents for every meal for a year. (FYI.. My father,Bob, passed on December 22, 2020) Our Condolences. Kim
