JoAnn M. Perkins, 87, of Findlay, passed away at Bridge Hospice Care Center on Thursday, October 8, 2020. JoAnn was born on March 18, 1933 to the late Orean and Mable (Altman) Radabaugh. JoAnn was a cheerleader at Van Buren High where she graduated, Class of 1951. JoAnn married her high school sweetheart, Joesph "Ed" Perkins, on May 12, 1953, and he survives. Also surviving are her sons, Craig (Karen) Perkins of Bellevue, OH and Brad (Debbie) Perkins of Dublin, OH; along with four grandchildren, three great grandchildren and her two brothers, Dale (Carol) Radabaugh of Van Buren, OH and Rex (Judy) Radabaugh of Upper Sandusky, OH. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Dick, Joe, Jack, Don, and Wayne Radabaugh, as well as sisters Betty Kern, Marilyn Parish, Ardynelle Weakly, Judy Miller, and Sondra Singer. JoAnn was a dedicated homemaker. She loved her family dearly, and loved to cook for them; her holiday caramels, and potato salad are a few of the favorite recipes that stay in the family. She enjoyed canning, gardening, and camping. Those closest to her remember JoAnn as sweet, kind and friendly, who never knew a stranger. JoAnn and Ed have been attending the Calvary Baptist Church since 1964. The Perkins family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Bridge Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care given to JoAnn in her final days. A private funeral service will be held at COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 12, 2020 with Pastor Gordon Dickson presiding. A burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
