William D. Shaffer, age 63, of Findlay, died at 6:13pm on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born in Findlay on October 26, 1956 to Fred E. and Anna Jane (Robison) Shaffer. He was a 1974 graduate of Findlay High School. Bill is survived by his mother, Anna J. Shaffer of Findlay, three children; Ryan (Anna) Shaffer of Findlay, Eric (Christine) Shaffer of Kalamazoo, MI and Alicia (Blake) Logan of Dayton. He is also survived by his brother, Jack (Connie) Shaffer of Findlay and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Shaffer. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Friday, August 28, 2020 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will receive friends from 11:00am Friday until the time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bill to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
