Kimala L. Oates, 60, of Findlay, OH, passed away on July 15, 2020 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born March 30, 1960 in Lima, OH to Bill and Jacquelyn (Jett) Lewis. Kimala was a 1978 graduate of Findlay High School and later married Daniel M. Oates on May 18, 1985, and he survives. Also surviving are sons, Jesse Oates of North Carolina, Matthew Sims of California, step son Jeff (Erika) Oates of Findlay, OH, brother, Kelly (Tammie) Lewis, of Waco, Texas, and 2 grandkids, Casey Oates and Nathan Ellerbrock. Kimala enjoyed attending concerts and listening to music, trips to the beach, watching movies with her grandson and she loved animals, especially her dog, Riley. The family would like to give a special thanks to Bridge Hospice and the staff at Blanchard Valley for all the care given to Kimala. A private family Celebration of Life will take place with COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County, in memory of Kimala. Online condolences can be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com
