Larry Ohanian, age 87, of Findlay, died at 10:48am on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Birchaven in Findlay. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1932, to the late Sarkis and Mariam (Kasparian) Ohanian. He married Della Mae Hipps on October 9, 1960 and she survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert (Holly) Ohanian of Austin, TX; daughter, Deborah (Greg) Parrott of Cincinnati, OH; and grandsons: Derek and Sean Parrott. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Ohanian. Larry served in the United States Army and retired in 1991, from Marathon Oil Company. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Findlay. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 11:00am-1:00pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. His funeral will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 1:00pm. Pastor Jessica Commeret will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad. Memorials may be made to either First Presbyterian Church or to the American Heart Association. Online condolences are welcomed at www.coldrencrates.com. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic the family requests that everyone wear a mask and the family will provide one if needed.
