All her beauty, wit and grace lie forever in one place.
She who sang and sprang and moved;
Now, on death, is only loved.

No words can describe how I feel for you both. My heart aches with pain and grief, but we have a lifetime of family memories of our times together with Eleanor. A light has gone out in my life but a new star is shining high in dark night sky.

I had the pleasure of visiting Eleanor and her lovely family in 2005 with Aunty Lizi and have been kept up to date over the years through her close contact with her family in Scotland.
The family she leaves behind is a reflection of the loving and loved person she was.
God Bless

Words can't express the hole in my heart that has been carved out upon your passing mom. I pray that you are finally at peace now and can look down upon the ones who loved you with all the love that you used to have within your wonderful heart. I wish I could have had a chance to say goodbye. On top of that, I'm sorry I couldn't help you get through the things that held you back. Just know that you were the best mother a son could have ever asked for and that you 100% helped mold me into the man I am today. You did this mostly alone, and for that I commend you moreso. I just pray that you died knowing how much I love you. Goodbye mum.

I was deeply saddened by the news of your Mum, Eleanor’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Ellie was a cousin of mine but more like a much loved Aunt to me. I shared the most magical time with her when she came to stay with us in Surrey, we had a ball, and it’s something I’ll never forget. I can still hear her voice and laughter, her “hi honey” when she called and saying “right darling” and “awesome”. She was the height of fashion especially when younger and maintained her sense of style and smartness. I admired her creative talent and attention to detail. I learnt a lot from your Mum I doubt I would ever have known about. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. With love and sympathy at this sad and difficult time from Louise xx 🌹

So sad to hear of my cousin Eleanor's passing. My mum, Sadie, and Eleanor's dad, Tommy, were brother and sister. As children we spent many happy times together and my lasting memory is of Eleanor as a beautiful bride on her wedding day. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
With Love,
Christine xx
