Scott Alan Ranes, 52, of Findlay, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020. Scott was born in Bowling Green, OH on December 24, 1967 to the late Wilber and Sharon (Baker) Ranes. On April 10, 2004, he married Peggy Ann Skinner, and she survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Heather Ranes, Leslie (Justin) DiMeglio, and Daniell Ranes, all of Findlay, along with sons, Chance (Melissa) Espenschied and Tyler (Ally) Espenschied, all of Lima. Also surviving are his siblings, Tom Ranes of Findlay, Julie (Dennis) Heuerman of Ottawa, Paula (Raul) Ochoa of Findlay, Jack Ranes of McComb, Tammy Ranes of Findlay, Joe Guzman of Lima, Reyes (Christina) Ochoa II of McComb and Amanda (Ponce) Quintero of Cleveland, along with 8 beloved grandchildren. Scott enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling, but was mostly known for the joy it gave him to spend time with family. A visitation will be held at COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, on Thursday, September 3, from 12:00-4:00pm.
