Patricia Ann (Aten) Lawrence, age 93, of Findlay, Ohio and formerly of Bellville, Texas, passed peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, June 1, 2020 at The Heritage in Findlay. She was born in Jackson, Michigan on June 30, 1926 to the late Murl K. and Helen Marie (Schultz-Rowley) Aten. She married Donald F. Lawrence Sr. on February 28, 1953 and he survives in Findlay. Also surviving are her children: Janet (Gary) Stevens of Jackson, MI, Jeff Lawrence of Nashville, TN, Ken (Marie) Lawrence of Scottsdale, AZ, and Don (Lora) Lawrence Jr. of Findlay; brother, Wendell (Jeanie) Aten of Chelsea, MI; grandchildren: Kristen, Kelley, Michael, Bridget, Caroline, Kim, and Melissa; great-grandchildren: Isaac, Evelyn, and Lily. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jacqueline and Beverly. Patricia was a home service advisor for Detroit Edison and a member of the Historical Societies in Bellville, TX, Jackson, MI, and Houston TX, the Austin County Jail Museum, where she received a resolution for her distinguished service, the Boys and Girls Club of Austin County, Alpha Delta Rho Society, and the Ella Sharp Museum. At one time, she had been a chairwoman for the March of Dimes of Jackson. She always enjoyed reading, cooking, and traveling. She kept detailed journals on every trip she took. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had attended the Fannie Farmer Cooking School in Boston and also the Jackson Community College. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 from 1:00-4:00pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the family is requesting that all persons wear masks at the visitation. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 11:00am at the Roseland Memorial Park in Jackson. Memorials may be given to the Boys and Girls Club of Austin County, 1815 S.
