I remember Mr. Hassan's enthusiasm for teaching science at McComb. I recall one class, 50+ years ago, when he was teaching about nuclear fission. He had set up his overhead projector with a model of a nucleus and was bombarding it with BBs. During his demonstration, the nucleus captured one of his BBs. Pure joy at demonstrating fusion instead fission. It continues to be fond memory of his classes.

With deepest sympathy on your loss.
