Flossie Sapienza, 92, of Findlay, passed away at 9:45am on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at her residence. She was born on February 3, 1928, in North Baltimore, OH to the late William and Eliza (Lee) Campbell. She married Dominic Sapienza on July 24, 1947, and he preceded her in death on May 30, 1997. Flossie is survived by her sons: Dominic Sapienza, II of Findlay, and David Sapienza of Findlay; daughter, Anne Sapienza-Crawford of Findlay; her grandchildren: Amy, Danielle, Michael, and Christopher; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Sapienza; and her 12 siblings. Flossie had formerly worked as a telephone operator for Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker to her family, and was a longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Findlay. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, March 6 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and/or Bridge Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com.

I worked 3rd shift operator. Your mom use to come in first shift and relieve me from night shift. We always had brief discussions about work and family.

She was always very nice to me and helped when I had questions about work.
