Paul E. "Pops" Patton, age 72, of Findlay, died at 4:26pm on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green, Ohio. He was born on April 26, 1947, in Kenton, Ohio to the late John B. and Ester (Castle) Patton. He is survived by a daughter, Kim (Kevin Karrick) Treft of Findlay; daughter-in-law, Angie Patton of Findlay; brother, David (Karen) Patton of Parump, NV; sisters: Mary Lou Fields of Findlay, Barbara (Tom) Holmes of Findlay, and Vicki (Tony) Brown of Forest; grandchildren: Meisha Miller, Jarred Treft, and Summer Patton; great-grandchildren: Violet Miller and Jameson Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Patton Jr.; and a grandson, Jacob Trey Patton. Paul served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He is a member of the Amvets, VFW, Legion and the Moose. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing music on his guitar and harmonica. He was a retired engineer, having worked at the Nevada Nuclear Test Site and at one time had his own trash hauling company. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. The family would like to encourage those wishing to do so to wear their favorite Harley Davidson clothes in memory of Paul. A Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 4:00pm on Friday. Pastor Jim Klausing will officiate. The Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will be conducting full military rites at the service. Memorials may be made to Bridge Hospice in his memory, and online condolences are welcomed at
