Richard "Dick" Eugene Parshall

Richard E. (Dick) Parshall, 80, died on October 14, 2020. He was born on August 29, 1940, in Ada, Ohio to George and Mildred (Main) Parshall. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers George, Dave, Ron, Tommy, and Jackie. Dick graduated from Ada High School, Class of 1959. He married his sweetheart, Barbara, on July 22, 1967. He was an employee at Whirlpool from 1968-1995; working his way up to supervisor of the range line. Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara (Klueg) Parshall, are his son, Greg, and his wife, Tammy, of Findlay; his daughter Ann, of Findlay; his grandsons Ryan, Vince, Trey, and Jake; his sister-in-laws Mary, of North Baltimore, Eileen, of Ada, and Mary, of Absecon, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; enjoying many friendships lasting over 75 years. He enjoyed playing cards, reading, doing yard work, volunteering at St. Michael School, biking, and walking. Dick especially enjoyed the time he shared with his gradnson, Ryan. Dick was a member of The Management Club at Whirlpool and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00am on Monday, October 19, 2020 at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 750 Bright Road, Findlay Ohio. The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Monday at the church. Father Peter Gordi will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Findlay. COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay are handling the arrangements for the family. Those who wish to remember Dick in a special way, may make gifts in his memory to the Autism Society of N.W. Sorry for the loss of Dick. I worked at Whirlpool the same years as Dick and enjoyed his friendship. Due to Colvert I will not be attending visitation. During our years Greg and my son Kurt were friends in school than out. I know Dick will be missed.
