Philip Anthony Flick, age 61, of Benton Ridge, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 5:08am at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, from Stage 4 Lung Cancer metastasizing to his entire body. He was born on December 14, 1957 in Tiffin, Ohio to Richard and Geraldine Flick. Philip is survived by his father, Richard; sister, Diane Boguski (Bruce); and nephew, Ryan Davis. Philip was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Mae Flick; paternal grandparents: Roy and Mildred Flick; and maternal grandparents: Daniel and Bernice McMcLoughlin. Philip graduated from Liberty Benton High School in 1976 and his employment career included Blanchard Valley Supply, Whirlpool Corporation, Lowes, and Cooper Tire. Phil enjoyed horseback riding, playing guitar, writing, and recording songs in the recording studio in his basement. Phil lived a quiet and private life, requesting that his body be cremated. There will be no services. Phil accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 20, 2019 and on that day his eternal life began. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Blanchard Valley Health System for their care in I.C.U. Especially thanking the entire staff of Bridge Hospice who guided us, loved us, and supported us through the final journey of Phil's earthly life. You treated him with such dignity, respect, and integrity; we are forever grateful. Arrangements are being handled by COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Memorials may be made to Findlay Bridge Home Health and Hospice Program and online condolences are welcomed at
