Julia E. Stauffer, 88 of North Baltimore passed away at the Bridge Hospice Care Center on Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was born in Akron, Ohio on Aug. 3, 1932 to the late Claude and Sarah (Morrison) Mathers. She married Gerald A. Stauffer on March 31, 1953 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 2014. She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Mellinger of North Baltimore; three brothers, William T. Mathers of Warren, Ohio, Claude A. Mathers, Jr. and Jack D. Mathers, both of Findlay; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Claudia Stetter, Clara Hakin and Tillie Teegardin. She previously worked at the American Legion Post #3 where she was a life member. She was also a member of the AMVETS Post 21, D.A.V. and the V.F.W. in Findlay. Visitation will be held at COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 9, 2020. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 1:00pm with Pastor Josh Cravens officiating. Burial of both Julia and Gerald to follow at Knollcrest Cemetery.
