Mirella Rae Zimmerman passed away peacefully on the morning of April 11th, 2019 with family at her side. She was born July 7th, 1937 in Paulding, Ohio to parents Beulah and Huston Straley. Her parents and sister Sharlene preceded her in death along with her first husband, James S. Noneman. Mirella is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald E. Zimmerman and her three children: Steven Noneman (Candace Reinhard Noneman), Dennis Zimmerman (Leslee Smith), and Lisa Robinson (Douglas Robinson, deceased). She has seven grandchildren: Craig Noneman, Robert Noneman, Andrea Keebler, Nicholas Bruzas (Kayleigh Casillas), Olivia (Adam) Stuller, Samantha Zimmerman, and Tiffany (Bradley) Contreras. Her great-grandchildren include Octavian and Zaiden Gonzales and Anthony and Brooklyn Bruzas. She is also survived by her nephew, Mike (Sheryl) Chiles. Mirella’s biggest supporter is her husband Don. They loved each other through all the good and bad times. He was her rock as life slipped by these past few months. He continues to show grace and compassion for the rest of the family as we all move forward. Mirella was deeply committed to Findlay’s Howard United Methodist Church. She was a woman of diverse talents which she expressed as a singer, artist, seamstress, cook, business entrepreneur, and leader/organizer of events for family and friends. This included her sorority, card club, Sara Circle, Red Hats, and vacation bible school. Mirella and Don enjoyed many friendships at Mt. Vernon Estates while wintering in Bradenton, Florida. She enjoyed a prosperous and full life. She will be dearly missed! Visitation services will be held at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, April 17th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00–8:00pm. A church service will be held at Howard United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 18th at 11:00am. A luncheon will be provided following the service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Howard United Methodist Church, 220 Cherry St. Findlay, Ohio 45840.
