George M. Bishop, age 60, of Findlay passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. George is survived by his wife Karen Bishop of Findlay; son Michael Bishop of Columbus; brother David (Lorinda) Bishop of WalBridge; and Sister Lou Ann Thayer of Findlay. George was preceded in death by his parents George and Betty Bishop of Findlay and his sister Beth Bishop (Ed White) Rowland of Misquite, NV. George lived in Louisiana for 8 years early on in his life, where he worked for Marathon Oil Company. He moved back home to Findlay in the late 80's to take care of his mother and remained there until his passing . George married the love of his life Karen King on July 6, 1990. George enjoyed his family and he also loved his dogs Allie and Lillie. George was also an avid bass fisherman. George loved and cared for his family very much and he always expressed how proud he was of his son Michael. Visitation services for George Bishop will be held Friday, January 25, 2019 from 11AM-2PM at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Funeral services will be held directly after visitation hours on January 25, 2019 at 2PM at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. Pastor Linda Davison will be officiating services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hemophilia Federation of America and the Humane Society. Online condolences can be expressed to the family at www.coldrencrates.com.
