Sharon D. Quirk, age 71, of Findlay, died at 7:12am on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Sunrise Senior Living in Findlay. She was born on November 23, 1947 in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio to the late Dewey and Ruth Ann (King) Lee. She married Ronald Quirk on November 22, 1970 and he died on October 10, 2016. She is survived by her children: James Owen (Melissa) Quirk of Mooresville, Indiana, Sean (Nikki) Quirk of Chesapeake, VA, Tina (Peter) Schumacher of Findlay, and Danielle (Brian) Elwood of Louisville, KY; her siblings: Dewey (Belinda) Lee Jr. of Van Buren, Phillip (Sandra) Lee of Findlay, John (Tammy) Lee of Findlay, Joseph Lee of Van Buren, Pat Yohnke of Jerry City, OH, and Deb Lee of Fostoria; and her grandchildren: Liza Schumacher, Molly Elwood, Neil Quirk, Chloe Schumacher, Andrew Quirk, and Autumn Quirk. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Welch. Sharon was retired from Dow Chemical and had been a member of the Findlay Garden Club. She had been active with the Humane Society in taking animals for visits at nursing homes. The family would like to thank Sunrise Assisted Living for the care that Sharon received.
