Madeline and Entire Leaf Family,
This news breaks my heart. Jimmy was one of my favorite people on this earth. He was as true and genuine as they come. I have so many fun memories from the times we worked together. He always talked about each of you with such pride. It was very evident he loved and adored you all. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Sending my deepest sympathy to your family on the passing of Jimmy. I worked at the Hancock County License Bureau and Jimmy worked next door to us at the Drivers Examiner office and I held a great regard for him and the pride he took in his job. He loved his family and spoke fondly of all of you. Let your hearts heal with the memories you hold.

I was so nervous to take my drivers test and was told I didn't want to get Officer Leaf.
Guess who I got, Officer Leaf, but they were wrong! He knew I was nervous and got in and talked and I felt like I had a friend in the car with me! He made me so comfortable and I passed the first time! Will never forget him and I am so sorry for your loss! He was a great man, may he rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was the driving examiner for both of my kids and was known to be the tough one! I found him to be a very fair person who used common sense. My condolences, to his loved ones, on the loss of a very special man.

Dear Madeline and Family,

Once upon a time many years ago we were neighbors on a little street in Findlay - Concord Ct. My mother, Mary Craft, learned of Jim's passing from a relative and called to tell me. We are so very sorry. For a moment we stepped back in time as we spoke of those days. I have lovely childhood memories of outside adventures with Brian and holding your then so little girls.

May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace.

Mattie

I am so sorry I could not come up & give my condolences. Was & still am sick. Jimmy was a very special part of our lives when we were teens. Jimmy Mickey, Barb & Danny all hung out together. He was quiet yet funny to be around. He gave all 4 of my kids their driving exams & they all passed. My oldest son would always look for Jimmy when he would go out to get his license renewed. It breaks my heart to know that he has passed. I will be keeping you all in my prayers. Please know that he loved his wife & family very much.
