Although you probably don't know me, I was saddened to hear of John's passing. In addition to the sadness of knowing someone has lost a loved one, I'm disappointed I never had the pleasure of meeting John, a fellow Brother of Delta Sigma Pi, that lives here in Findlay. Reading about John, I can tell he was well-loved and a remarkable person. I am also touched by the request for an act of selflessness (along with donning a mask). The world is better when we work together and help each other out and the world is most certainty better because John dwelt upon it.

My condolences and love,

James Kuhn

John's long journey is over at this bittersweet time. Your loving care and companionship to him through that time will stay in your memory, but the sweet will last when the bitter disappears.

He was a lovely man.

With sincere sympathy,
Nan Arthur

Anita,
I was so saddened to hear of Johns passing. It has been many many years, but John provided great coaching to me very early in my career. I will always remember and appreciate John for his work ethic, passion, commitment to Marathon and genuine persona. I can hear his laugh to this day.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Anita, Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. John and I worked closely together in the 70's and became good friends. He was a great confidant and I was glad to have seen him at St Michaels a few years ago when we were back in Ohio. May he be at peace.

My husband and I were so sorry to hear of John’s passing.
He was the best man at our wedding August 17, 1968. Ed and John were friends in high school.
After the wedding, John drove Ed and I in his car all around town as the wedding party and guests followed. I didn’t know John very well, but I remember how friendly he was, how much he smiled and how comfortable he made people feel at our wedding.
We are very sorry for your loss.
