What fun times he created for us as kids.... we rode in his horse wagon at any parade we could... he brought his horse wagon to chicken BBQ's at my parent's house and seemed to like giving rides as much as kids/adults liked going. I remember loading and un-loading truck loads of newspapers stored in his barn to help raise money for church youth group. He would smile and laugh, even when working hard.

He will be missed.

For more than 60 years my family has treasured the friendship of Charlie and his family. Many, many years ago Charlie and Doris and my family of 5 took a two week vacation from Findlay to Florida in two travel trailers. This was one of many shared outings. Even though I have not lived in Ohio for may years Charlie has always remained a good friend and I will miss him. I will treasure those old memories.
