Helen K. Reeg, age 92, of Findlay, died at 5:50am on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at The Heritage in Findlay. She was born in Arlington, Ohio, to the late John E. and Nellie Rachel(Crist) King. She married Lee B. Reeg on December 1, 1946, and he preceded her in death on December 26, 1996. She is survived by her son: Randy L. (Kristi) Reeg of Findlay; grandchildren: Ashley Reeg, and Darren Reeg ; great grandchildren: Noah Depuy, Bentley Depuy and Ethan Maley. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Paul, Eldon, Pauline, Fairy, Imo and Bernice. Helen started her working career at Hancock Brick and Tile, she then went to work at Ohio Northern University, to McDonald and Co., and retired from Merrill Lynch. She had been a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and later Trinity Baptist Church. She had a beautiful voice and sang many solos and participated in many choirs. She also played the piano at many venues. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Lee, in particular she had enjoyed their visit to the Holyland. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at The Heritage for their wonderful care. A special thank you to Sandy, Katie, Jenna and Robin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 5-7pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 West Sandusky Street in Findlay, where funeral services will be held at noon on Friday. Pastor Denny Coates will officiate and interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to either Trinity Baptist Church in Findlay or Faith Baptist Church in Ottawa. It's appropriate that our Moms died within almost a week of each other since they lived so close to each other at The Heritage! I appreciated how you stopped in to visit with my mom occasionally, just to say hello. Praying for you Randy that you know the peace of God in her passing. Our Moms are in a far better place with Jesus!
