William E. Bibler, 82, of Findlay, passed away at 6:50 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2021, at Birchaven Village. He was born on March 27, 1938 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Daris and Gyneth (Foltz) Bibler. He married Alice M. Lawrence on May 22, 1981 and she survives. Also surviving are sons: Gary (Yvonne) Bibler of Rawson, their children, William and Angela, and Eric Bibler of Findlay and his daughter, Cara Bibler; daughter, Cara Bibler of Findlay and her children, Joshua Haynes and Eletha Sutton; stepsons: Daniel (Lori) Clements of Snydertown, Pa. and their children, Kyle and Deanna, Joseph Clements of The Dalles, Oregon, Timothy (Jorgina) Clements of Valley, Washington and their twins Rebecca and Gipse and Ike; step daughter, Theresa (Jeffery) Thomas of Arlington and their sons: Greg, Adam and Ben; sister, Peggy (Jerry) Barnhouse of Elida; 1 great grandchild and 12 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Bibler; stepson, Matthew Clements; step daughter, Deanna Clements; and sisters: Janet Ruth Zink and Phyllis Kennedy. He graduated from Van Buren High School and worked for Willard Garage, then Dow Chemical and retired in 1995 after 21 years from Ashland Oil Company. Bill and Alice then followed his dream of fulltime RVing for 7 years before settling in Arlington in 2002. He was a member of Arlington United Methodist Church and enjoyed Arlington girls volleyball and basketball, as well as sprint car racing and anything John Deere. He loved Ohio State and thought the ultimate job would be taking care of the Budweiser Clydesdales. The most important thing to Bill in life was his wife and his family. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00am on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at COLDREN CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay. The funeral services will be at the conclusion of the visitation at 11:00am with Pastor Mark Gregory officiating. Interment at Houcktown Cemetery will be private.
