Raymond Thomas Stennett, 69, of Findlay passed away at 10:32 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1943, to the late Elijah and Lucy Myrtle (Layne) Stennett, Sr. in Ashland, KY. He married Mary Carol Plankenhorn on February 18, 1962, and she survives. Raymond is also survived by his children: Donna (William) Yates of Findlay, Rodney (Kim) Stennett of Findlay, Bryan (Susan) Stennett of Findlay, and Kristina Motter of Findlay; sisters-in-law Bessie and Beulah; grandchildren: Brittany (Adam) Stone, Angela Yates, Thomas "TJ", Alicia (Donovan) Birkmire, Brooke Stennett, Ethan Stennett, Michael Gibson, Kellie, and Cameron Motter; great-grandchildren: Sadie Stone, Benjamin Webb, Connor Baney, and Taliesin Stone; and dogs: Bella, Mojo, and Buster. Raymond was also preceded in death by daughter, Mary Michelle Stennett; and siblings: Henry Stennett, Alberta Barton, Madgeline Stennett, and Elijah Stennett, Jr. Raymond was a salesman at Sour Flower Trading Post. He was also the former owner of The Music Gallery and Drum Shop and was a professional musician for over 50 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a Cleveland Browns Fan. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the funeral home. Reverend William Best and Pastor Lee Hill will be officiating and burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Blanchard Twp., Putnam County, OH. Memorials may be made to the family.
