Shirley A. Etoll-Hoerrle, 83, of Findlay, passed away on July 22, 2019 at Birchaven Village. She was born on October 8, 1935 in Zaleski, Ohio to the late Harold and Minta (Criss) Rainey. She married Howard Wayne Shelton (deceased) on October 11, 1953 and they divorced in 1971. She married Lawrence Etoll on September 15, 1973 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1995. She later married Herman Hoerrle on November 5, 2004 and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Angela Blocher; sister, Marilyn Auck; step-children: Sally Carrel, Lindy Evans, Thomas, Scott, Carl Hoerrle, and Kathy Dembek; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; six step-grandsons; six step-granddaughters; and several step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffery Wayne Shelton; step-son Larry "Lucky" Etoll; and one great-granddaughter. She graduated from Arcadia High School in 1953. She retired from the Benefit Consultants (Claims Department) where she was employed from 1990-2005. She volunteered for United Way in 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday July 27, 2019 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay at 2:00pm, with viewing one hour prior (1:00-2:00pm). Pastor Joel Johnson will officiate and burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery. Visitation will also be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Friday July 26, at the funeral home.
