Although I haven’t known you guys my whole life, I love and miss you all so much while I’ve been at college. I couldn’t begin to put into words the impact Otto, along with the rest of you, have had on my life. You guys have a light in your family and although it may be dimmed by this loss, he’s in a better place.

Love Emma

My condolences to each of you. I was sorry to hear of Otto's passing. I have many fond memories of Otto as we attended Arcadia High School together in the Class of 1957. He was fun to be around and usually had some tall tale to tell.

My thoughts are with you at this time. Otto was a great friend in the class of ‘57. We had a lot of fun times riding the same bus before we became “too grown up” to ride the bus.

We hated to see Otto's obituary in the paper Saturday, caught us off guard. A good soul has passed over to join the others in a world of beauty and holiness. Rod worked with Otto for years and always said he was honored to have had the opportunity to work with Otto, otherwise he would had missed the opportunity to know him and consider him a friend. We have many fond memories of Otto.. he was a gracious and lovely person to know.. loved his stories, and always brought a smile with good advise. One time Rods Welder was down and of course, called Otto and he came right over and in two minutes understood the problem and had the welder up and running once again. Otto was a joy to be around, i will miss his visits and also in the summer the garden tomatoes and radishes that he would hang on my door to my pleasant surprise upon getting home.... goodies for supper.
Otto will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers and much love to Otto's family in these upcoming days and months as you all adjust without his presence. It was our honor to know him and love him as a dear friend.

Otto was a great friend. Best hunting buddy in the school years. Could shoot a flying crow with his 22 rifle. And the best football guard Arcadia High School ever had.
