Rodney J. Cephas, 54, of Findlay died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 3:38pm at his residence. He was born on July 23, 1957, in Chester, Pennsylvania to Shirley Cephas Butler and she survives in Ft. Washington, Maryland. His parents, Junior and Florinda Cephas,raised him and Florinda survives in Cleveland, Ohio. He also is survived by a son: Jason A. Cephas of Pt. Hueneme, California and a daughter: Whitney S. (Alan) Hammer of Toledo as well as a grandson: Ilijah J. Cephas. Also surviving are his fiancée: Tyyna Carino of Findlay and her daughter: Kristen of Florida, a brother: DeWayne Cephas of Sherman Oaks, California, three sisters: Brenda Cephas Reese of Shaker Hts., Ohio, Jeannette Cephas of Yonkers, New York, and Trois Parker of Lima, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother: Arnold Cephas and a sister: Julaine Camp. He was an electrician at Kohl's Distribution Center and a member of The Findlay Moose. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME in Findlay where funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday.
