Treva Lavaun Elsea

1922 - 2012

Treva L. Elsea, 89 of Findlay went home to be with the Lord at 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born in Riley Twp., Putnam County on April 18, 1922 to the late David and Elma (Schumacher) Luginbill. She married Donald Elsea and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2009. Treva is survived by her children: Marcia (Roger) Rigel of Leipsic; Lois (Ron) Junko of Washington, PA; Eugene Elsea of Findlay; Floyd (Jean) Elsea of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren: Jeff (Emma) Arnett; Eric Arnett; Tricia Rigel; Ryan (Judy) Rigel; Matt (Laurie) Junko; Ben (Cortni) Junko; Gretchen Junko; Caleb Elsea; Jacob Elsea; Hannah Elsea and Tiffany Elsea; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Treva is also survived by her sister Clorinda (Bernard) Green of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her daughter Doneta (Ed) Arnett, brother Paul (Kathryn) Luginbill and two sisters; Anna Marie (Russell) Gallant and Ellen (Paul) Bodey. She was a graduate of Pandora High School. Treva worked as a nurse at Bluffton Hospital and then Blanchard Valley Hospital where she retired. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Rook Club, Poinsettia Club and New Creation Church of God. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Terry Ream officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
