Bridgette Elaine McClelland, 21, of Fostoria and formerly of Arlington, died peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep on Friday, October 26, 2012. She leaves behind her loving father, Jan (Dana) McClelland, Arlington; beloved fiancé, Jacob (Jake) Hummel, Fostoria; a sister, Laura (Christoper) Rathburn, Bluffton; brothers, Robert McClelland II, New Albany; Duncan McClelland, Arlington; Tyrone (Samantha) Roebuck, Colorado Springs, CO; and Dustin (Elise) Babcock, Lake Tahoe, CA; grandfather, Robert L. McClelland, Arlington; nieces, Mersadees and Maddyson Rathburn; nephews, Braith and Brendan Rathburn; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She also leaves behind her former step-mother, Sommer Carrick, Findlay; and her birth mother, Debra, Findlay. Bridgette graduated from Arlington High School in 2009. She was active in basketball, volleyball and track. She was a four year member of the Arlington High School F.C.C.L.A. and also a member of the Arlington Chapter of the F.F.A. for four years. Bridgette was also a proud member of the Arlington High School "Loud Crowd" the duration of her high school years. She then continued her studies at Owens Community College. She was currently employed by Basol Laboratories, Findlay, OH. Bridgette was beloved by all, for her sweet and gentle nature. She was a good friend, wonderful sibling and a caring loving daughter. She brought joy to all who knew her with her simple smile and genuine character. Bridgette attended Gateway Church, where she was active in the youth group during her teenage years. She was also baptized at Gateway Church. Bridgette will be so greatly missed by her families and friends. God has truly received another angel in heaven. Memorials may be made in Bridgette's honor to the McClelland family in care of Crates Funeral Home, Arlington. The family will receive cherished friends and guests at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 620 N. Main St., Arlington, OH 45814. Visitation hours will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 3, 2012, respectfully at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor David Rath officiating. Burial will be in the Bishop Cemetery in Eagle Twp. | I am sorry to read of your loss During this tragic time looking to the Bible can offer you comfort and hope At John 5 28 29 it says that all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out This is the resurrection hope of when we will see our loved ones again At this time we will look forwad to Revelation 21 4 being fulfilled where it says that death will be no more Until then Jesus told us at John 11 11-14 that death is like being asleep I hope this gives you comfort knowing that she is asleep in death awaiting the resurrection
