Richard Waldo Billingsley

Richard W. "Dick" Billingsley, 81, of Williamstown, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 8:08 PM, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. Dick was born February 1, 1931 to the late Ralph and Frances (Beck) Billingsley, near Leipsic. Dick graduated from Gilboa High School in 1949. Dick joined the U.S. Army in 1952 during the Korean War serving through 1953. Upon returning from the Army, Dick married Dorothy Maxine Fagan on June 3, 1955 and she survives. Also surviving is a son; Dennis (Kathy) Billingsley of Marysville, brother; Gene Billingsley of Findlay, and grandchildren; Eric (Cassie), Jordan, and Kyle Billingsley. Preceding Dick in death is his son; Douglas Billingsley, and brother; Carl Billingsley. Dick retired after 31 years of service from RCA Harris Corp. Dick attended Bible Fellowship Church, Arlington, loved to farm, make and fly model airplanes, and most of all loved his family. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 2:00 PM at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington with Pastor Jerry Kellogg presiding. Burial will follow at Williamstown Cemetery, with full military graveside honors conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad . Visitation will be held Saturday October 20, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
