Elmer E. "Bud" Brooker, 79, of Findlay, died at 4:55 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. He was born on August 19, 1933, in Findlay, to the late Clifford E. and Frances L. Brooker. He married his teenage sweetheart Mary Jane Peterson on January 18, 1952, and she survives.
He is also survived by his children: R. Scott (Vickie) of Findlay, Steven E. of Bowling Green, Suzi (Doug) Rhodes of Bowling Green, Douglas K. (Anne) of Van Buren, Dennis K. of Findlay and Denise "Shelli" Brooker of Findlay; his 14 grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; his siblings: Charles Brooker of Newcomerstown, Donald Brooker of Findlay and Kathy Brooker of Findlay. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline.
Bud retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company after 42 years of service.
A private family graveside service will be held in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.coldrencrates.com.
