Betty Mae Rimer

Betty Mae Rimer, 77, of Findlay passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born on July 9, 1935, to the late E. Delmer and E. Mae (Dorman) Egts in Findlay. She married Gold C. Rimer on September 12, 1954, and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2007. Betty is survived by her children: Vincent K. (Lynette) Rimer, Christopher Gold Rimer, Michael J. (Vanessa) Rimer, Penny Kandi (Steven) Castle and Laurie K. Steinmeyer all of Findlay; brother, William (Barb) Egts; sister, Sandy (Karl) Cramer; sister-in-law, Lilly Egts; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by brother, Jack Egts. Betty was a 1953 graduate of Findlay High School and worked at Blanchard Valley Hospital for 33 years. She also owned Pussy Cat Hobby Shop, where she and Gold were makers of miniature doll houses, furniture, and accessories for 20 years. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Pastor Ronald Dorman will officiate and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice. | your family has my sympathies i worked with betty on fourth floor in the old hospital for many years asn loved her very much she always had a smile and loved to look and her new things for her doll house she will saddly be missed but she is at peace i am sorry to say that i never kep up with her when she retired but i always keep her in my mins and prayers pat fraley |
