Jean Naiman
1923 - 2012
Jean Naiman, age 88, of Findlay, passed away on August 2, 2012 at The Heritage Nursing Home in Findlay, OH. She was born on November 11, 1923, in Cleveland, OH to the late Arthur H. and Ida C. (Scheutz) Heiden. She married Lester R. Naiman on April 6, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 2, 2000. Surviving Jean are two sons: Neil G. (Diana) Naiman of Findlay and Nelson R. Naiman of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren: Chad (Nichole) Naiman of Louisville, KY, Kyle (April) Naiman of Hamilton, OH, Lisa (James) Tuttle of Green Bay, WI and Lindsay (Andrew) Raymond of Richmond, VA; and four great-grandchildren: Olivia and Lyla Naiman, Dane and Grady Naiman. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Homer W. of Chesterland, OH, daughter-in-law, Jamie and granddaughter, Tess both of Ft. Myers, FL. Mrs. Naiman attended Jane Adams High School in Cleveland where she learned how to be a seamstress and homemaker. She worked in Cleveland as a seamstress before her marriage to Lester following WWII. They were married for 54 years. They resided in Cleveland until retirement after which they relocated to Port Charlotte, Florida. Jean relocated to Findlay upon the passing of her husband. There will be a private memorial service at the Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH where she will be interred alongside her husband, a US Army veteran. Arrangements have been entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jean to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association or to Bridge Home Health and Hospice of Findlay.
